Delete your data
Last updated 30 September 2026
In one line: email privacy@ivfcomputer.com with the word Delete in the subject, and we will reply within 7 working days.
If you are a patient
Ask your clinic first. Your records belong to them, they can act straight away, and they know your case. Ask the doctor or the coordinator you usually speak to.
If you cannot reach them, or you would rather not, write to us:

Subject Delete my data
Please tell us:
- Your name, as the clinic has it
- The clinic's name
- The phone number or email you gave the clinic
- Whether you want everything removed, or only some of it — for example only the messages, or only the patient app account
We will check you are who you say you are before deleting anything. That is to protect you: we cannot let a stranger delete somebody's medical records.
If you are a clinic
Write to us from an email address at your clinic and tell us what you want removed — one patient, a group, or everything. Before we delete anything we will offer you a full copy of it first.
What happens, and when
| Within 7 working days | We reply, confirm who you are, and tell you exactly what we hold |
|---|---|
| Within 30 days | Anything that can be deleted is deleted from the live system |
| Within 35 more days | Backups containing it are overwritten in the normal cycle |
We will write to you when it is done, not leave you wondering.
The one thing we may not be able to delete
Fertility clinics in India are required by law to keep certain treatment records for a set number of years — consent forms, embryology records, and the registers an inspector can ask to see.
If part of your record is one of those, neither your clinic nor we may lawfully delete it before that time is up. We will tell you plainly which parts those are, and why, and we will delete everything else.
We would rather say this now than have you discover it after you have asked.
Turning off messages instead
If what you actually want is to stop receiving WhatsApp reminders, you do not need to delete anything. Reply STOP to any message from the clinic, or tell the clinic, and the messages end. Your records stay as they are.
If you are not happy with our answer
Write to Nakita Dsouza at privacy@ivfcomputer.com. If we still cannot settle it, you may take the matter to the Data Protection Board of India.
